My DD loves to take and have pictures as much as I do.. I guess that is what you get when your mom is the photographer for Studio R Photos :) I even have my DS saying cheese for the camera or camera phone at 19 months old. I love it!!!!
So Back to my DD she needed something to put her pictures on but if you have a bulletin board that mean thumb tacks ... Um not ready for that with the baby still eating anything he can find on the floor..
So I made her this :)

You will need
1 Frame ( any size will do but the bigger the more it will hold)
1 old dish towel
hot glue gun and glue
paint
Ribbon
*fun things to dress it up if you want :)
Start by painting the frame how you want it ...
I wanted that old look so I just brushed a little here and there :)
With the raise detail it was easy to give it that rustic touch
Otherwise paint the frame and then let it sit for bit, then attack it with sand paper here and there ... it does not have to look perfect :)
With the guts of the picture frame whether it was a mat or some card board
hot glue the dish towel to it.. and again my fav thing it doesn't have to be perfect :)
After you have glued it cut the extra part of the dish towel off.
See mine was all messed up :P no one will ever see it ....
Then take your fabric and hot glue it over the dish towel ... pulling it tight as you go
Take the ribbon you have chosen and map out how you want it to lay ..
Then start gluing it on the underside ... this is the longest part of it all .. but it dose not have to perfect :)
I didn't trim the extra off I just glued it down
Once you have it how you want on the front
place it in the frame :) and put the back on the frame
You could leave it like this and just hang it like a normal frame or you can jazz it up :)
I wanna JAZZ it up :)
Have fun .... let me see yours if you make one .. Place a comment with a link to your picture:) Hope who ever you make your frame for loves it as much as my DD did :)
